"When I am with you, we stay up all night.
When you're not here, I can't go to sleep.
Thank God for these two insomnias!
And the difference between them."

- Marines' Memorial Club & Hotel
Rooms will be around $80/night, with a discount if you've ever been in the service - though you don't have to be a member of the armed forces to stay here. The hotel is within walking distance of Union Square and the Powell Street BART and MUNI station. Though there is a website, you'll need to call for reservations. The number is 1-800-5-MARINE. Ask for a room with a view!
